Comprehensive Technical Overview

Product Description & Build Architecture

IP66 Sealed

An IP66 sealed enclosure is the specification that matters for an on-board charger in Australia. On-board means the charger lives on the vehicle, so it endures wash-downs, rain, dust and the vibration of rough ground rather than sitting safe on a shelf, and IP66 rates it against powerful water jets and total dust ingress. The Delta-Q QuiQ also carries multiple pre-loaded charging algorithms, which lets one charger serve lead-acid, AGM and lithium packs correctly as a mixed fleet transitions rather than forcing a matched charger for each chemistry. Selecting the right profile matters: charging a battery on the wrong algorithm is the fastest way to shorten its life.

IP66 sealed weatherproof on-board charger featuring pre-loaded multi-profile charging algorithms for all battery chemistries.

Great lithium charger, wish the DC cord was 1m longer

Fast 15A lithium charger with smart pulse maintenance. Charges my 48V pack from 20% to full in under 4 hours. The mains AC lead is long, but the output DC cord could do with an extra metre for awkward garage setups.

Great lithium charger, status LED is very bright at night

Charges quickly and operates cool. The multi-colour status LED indicator is quite bright in a dark garage, so I placed a small piece of tinted tape over it. Excellent charger overall.

Best decision switching to Lithium batteries

Replaced my old heavy lead acid 6-pack with a 48V 105Ah drop-in lithium pack. The weight savings are unbelievable—the buggy flies up the steep hill on the 7th hole without any groaning. Charger supplied is top quality and shuts off automatically in 3 hours.

Bluetooth battery monitor app makes life so simple

The RoyPow lithium pack connects to the smartphone app seamlessly. I can check individual cell voltages, remaining amp-hours, and state of charge from the clubhouse. Zero guesswork.

Great remote control cart, phone mount a bit snug

Tracking on the remote motorized buggy is spot on even on sloping fairways. Follow mode works nicely. Only minor issue is the built-in smartphone holder is quite tight if you use a thick rugged case on your phone.
